Start with the roofline, add what you like
The roofline frames the whole house, so most customers begin there. After that, you can layer on more.
- Roof edges, gables, dormers and peaks
- Wrapped trunks and outlined shrubs
- Wreaths for windows, doors and garages
- Porch rails, columns and walkways
- Timers for dusk-to-bedtime schedules

Roof height and roof steepness both change the job
Picture a tall house with a gentle roof, then a shorter one with a steep, busy roof. Those are two different jobs, and we weigh both before pricing.
Taller homes
Two-story and split-level homes call for longer reach and a slower setup. Our insurance and bond cover that work.
Steeper or busier roofs
Extra peaks, valleys and dormers eat up time and cord handling, so those roofs sit near the top of the $8 to $15 range.

Easy on your house
The clips we use are built for shingles, gutters and fascia. We never nail or staple into the roof or trim, so the house looks untouched after takedown.
We provide the lights and store them for you, so there is nothing to find in the garage next November. See what the price covers.
House lighting FAQ
What does it cost to put Christmas lights on a house in Fayette County?
Roofline lighting is $8 to $15 per linear foot with everything included. Trees, wreaths and walkway lights are separate line items on your quote.
How many feet of lights will my house need?
There is no single answer. A small ranch with a short front edge might be a hundred feet or less, while a big two-story with several gables can run several times that. We measure each edge you want lit.
What does lighting a two-story house cost?
Higher homes usually land in the middle or upper part of the range, since reaching the eave takes more equipment. A steep roof moves it up again.
Does a steep roof cost more to light?
Yes. Pitch slows the work down and calls for more safety gear, so steep roofs are priced higher per foot than gentle ones.
Will the clips hurt my roof, gutters or siding?
No. Our clips are made for shingle edges, gutters and fascia, and nothing gets nailed or stapled in. When the lights come off, your trim looks like it did before.
Can you light brick, stone or stucco houses?
Yes. Lights ride on the roof edge, gutters and trim, so the wall material does not matter.
Can you wrap the trees in my yard?
We can. We wrap trunks and bigger limbs and outline shrubs. Trees are priced by size, so a quick photo helps us quote it.
Do you only do white lights?
No. Choose warm white, cool white, red, green, blue or a mix. Describe the look you are after and we will fit it to your house.
Can my display turn on and off by itself?
Yes. A timer can switch the lights on at dusk and off at the hour you pick. Bring it up when you ask for a quote.
What if I have no outdoor outlet?
Let us know up front. We will look at the best place to plug in and plan the cord path before install day.
Do I have to be home?
Usually no. We only need access to the exterior and the outlet. You will get a message when we show up and another when we are done.
How long does the install take?
One visit handles most houses. Large homes, lots of trees or a detailed design can take longer, and we will say so before we begin.
Can I expand my lighting in a later year?
Easily. Your layout stays on file, so adding a gable, a tree or wreaths next season is a simple change.
Can I get the same design every year?
Plenty of homeowners do. We put it up, keep it running, take it down and store it, then repeat the next year.
